Ellensburg is a special place. It’s where neighbors still know each other, where ideas are shared over coffee, and where the beauty of the land meets the strength of community. I’m running for Ellensburg City Council because I believe Ellensburg deserves thoughtful, responsive leadership that puts people first.
After years working in public service around the world—and nearly a decade building programs and mentoring students at Central Washington University—I’ve learned that lasting change starts locally. We make the biggest impact when we listen closely, act collaboratively, and stay grounded in shared values.
Here in Ellensburg, we face real opportunities—and real challenges. Growth is happening fast, and with it comes big decisions about how we house people, support local businesses, protect our environment, and invest in infrastructure that works for everyone. I believe these decisions should be guided by inclusion, transparency, and a commitment to the common good.
Ellensburg is changing—and we need to make sure people can still afford to live here. From renters and students to working families and seniors, housing should be safe, accessible, and available.

City government should be easy to understand—and easy to access. I’ll work to make processes more open and bring more people into the conversation.
We need to plan for the future—not just react to it. That means protecting our natural resources, investing in smart infrastructure, and reducing our environmental impact.
Ellensburg’s economy is driven by its people—entrepreneurs, artists, service workers, farmers, educators. Let’s make sure they have the tools and support to thrive.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and included in public life. I’ll work to make our city more welcoming—across race, income, ability, age, gender identity, and background.
